About AlphaTrans Puerto Rico
Our History
Alpha Trans Corporation is the legal name of the 501c3 organization and began as a project aimed at the needs of transgender men in Puerto Rico. Given the great need for services, we have organized the opening of our wellness center dedicated to all our diverse collective.
Puerto Rico Transgender Wellness Center is a registered project of Alfa Trans-Puerto Rico, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 2020. Our organization is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of transgender communities in Puerto Rico and the United States. We provide community services to cover basic needs such as food and housing, links to health services, legal services and name change assistance, among other important issues that arise during the different individual transition processes. During the last three years, we have developed six fundamental programs to generate an impact in the society of our communities, educate our population and work on the development of talent, self-esteem, personal growth, STD prevention and suicide prevention. We would like to present the most important initiatives of our organization, for which today they are asking for your support to continue with this arduous social life, a task that requires concentration, dedication, and empathy.

Create and maintain a comprehensive welfare system for the Transgender community that offers a space for growth and professional development focused on excellence. To be a Model Organization in Management, Links and Citizen Assistance where Health, Prevention and Well-being are an accessible priority for each person.
Our Mission
Provide top-quality services in an effective and empathetic manner that meets the needs, care, and well-being of our transgender community. Provide the entire community with the best care based on ethics, accompanying the patient and their family through each process. Collaborate with the Education of each participant and their family, providing links with the care and promotion of health and preventive attitudes. Managing our resources with economic rationality in a transparent and honest way.
